JSIT is following an instant policy on rejection those received papers with plagiarism rate of more than 20%.So, All of authors and contributors must check their papers before submission to making assurance of following our anti-plagiarism policies.

The editorial board is very strict regarding plagiarism. The journal believes that taking the ideas and work of others without giving them credit is unfair and dishonest. Copying even one sentence from someone elses manuscript, or even one of your own that has previously been published, without proper citation is considered plagiarism-use your own words instead. The editorial board retains the absolute authority to reject the review process of a submitted manuscript if it subject to minor or major plagiarism and even may cancel the publication upon the complaint of victim(s) of plagiarism.

Articles and other material published in the Journal of Science and Innovative Technologies   represent the opinions of the author(s) and should not be considered to reflect the opinions of the Editorial Board. All published research articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening, anonymous refereeing by independent expert referees, and consequent revision by article authors when required.

 

JSIT accepts the following article types: Articles; Book Reviews; Critical Notices.Journal of Science and İnnovative Technologies  considers all manuscripts on the strict condition that;

 

·       the manuscript is your own original work, and does not duplicate any other previously published work, including your own previously published work.

·         the manuscript has been submitted only to Journal of Science and Innovative Technologies  is not under consideration or peer review or accepted for publication or in press or published elsewhere.

Manuscript files

The manuscript file must contain the following essential information:

·         Names and affiliations of all co-authors. The primary affiliation for each author should be the institution where the majority of their work was done.

·         As a guideline, the text should be structured in broad sections (abstract, introduction, results, conclusions, methods).

·         References to previous works.

If the manuscript includes personal communications, please provide a written statement of permission from any person who is quoted. E-mail permission messages are acceptable. We accept manuscripts in PDF, Word or TeX/LaTeX formats; if you are using TeX/LaTeX, we prefer that you submit compiled PDFs up until the pre-acceptance stage. All textual content should be provided in a single file; figures should be provided in individual files.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscript structureManuscript should consists of introduction, literature review, research methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgment (if any) and a complete list of references.

Language: In order to avoid possible grammatical or spelling errors and to make your work readable and understandable for readers, we advise you to get your work proofread by professionals or native speakers before submitting it.

Title pageThe title page should be sent as a separate document from the main text . Please give full name (first, middle and last name) but omit titles. Give the affiliation of each author and complete mailing address of the institution where the work was conducted. Please denote the corresponding author with an asterisk (*) and provide the email address of the corresponding author.

AbstractAll manuscripts must be accompanied with a 250-300 word abstract.  The abstract needs to contain enough information about the paper, highlighting your findings, methods and discussions.

KeywordsKeywords should represent the content of your manuscript and specific to the field of study. Keywords should not be more than five.

Font and spacingPlease use Times New Roman 12pt and all submissions (original articles, book reviews, research notes and thesis abstracts) should be typed in double spacing (including notes and references).

LengthThe Editorial Board solicits and encourages publication of worthy papers with a length not exceeding 7000 words (double-spaced, A4-size), inclusive of abstract, endnotes and references.  Introduction and conclusion sections are compulsory.

QuotationsQuoted words, phrases and sentences should be enclosed in double quotation marks. Quotations within quotations and glosses should be enclosed in single quotation marks.

Table and illustrationAll tables and figures should be placed as close to the corresponding text as possible. Caption should be set in sentence case and labeled with Arabic numerals (e.g.: Table 1, Figure 1). Figure (image) size is 300 dpi or higher. Table caption is placed at the top section of the table while figure caption is place at the bottom section of the figure. Tables and figures should be submitted as separate files, not embedded in text.
If data for table and figure are taken from other source, please include the source. Author is responsible for acquiring copyright from the appropriate party (such as publisher, person, institution, etc.).

NotesNotes should be kept to a minimum. Use endnotes, not footnotes. All notes should be numbered in sequence and in Arabic numeral, typed in double spacing and placed at the end of the main text. Notes should contain additional information to the particular discussion. Bibliographic notes are not allowed.

References and text citationsThe format of the text should be as following: Times New Roman size 11-point font, double line spacing, no indentations at the beginning of the paragraphs. References and citations must be in MLA Referencing System. Entries in the reference list should be put either in alphabetical or chronological order. All references should be in 10-point font.

Book Review

A typical book review for this journal should be more than 1000 and no more than 2000 words. A typical critical notice for this journal should be more than 3000 and no more than 5000 words. The first page should include the title of the article, the names and primary affiliations of the author(s), an abstract (no more than 200 words)  and 5 keywords. All figures, photographs, tables, or drawings should be numbered. The book review should contain no more than 2 bibliographical references, to be included at the end of the text (not as a footnote).

 

 

Conference proceedings

 

Publishing work in conference proceedings is common in some research communities. The Journal of Science and İnnovative Technologies is happy to consider submissions containing material that has been published in a conference proceedings paper. However, the submission should provide a substantial extension of results, methodology, analysis, conclusions and/or implications over the conference proceedings paper; the final decision on what constitutes a substantial extension is made by the editors of the journal. Authors must provide details of the conference proceedings paper with their submission including relevant citation in the submitted manuscript. Authors must obtain all necessary permissions to re-use previously published material and attribute appropriately.
